first aid

First Aid In every normal home there are cases of cuts, abrasions and burns. Usually we use polydine and a plaster, and hug the person who was hit. In the past, and in other cultures, hugging was also an integral part of healing, but polydine was not available...
There are other methods of first aid treatment, which usually involve herbs and oils, and are sometimes even more effective than standard treatment.
Nothing mentioned is a substitute for medical treatment. Of course, there are cases where you must seek help and treatment, but when the injury is minor and the treatment is at home, aromatherapy has a lot to offer.

A natural first aid kit will include-
1. Lavender essential oil (high quality, preferably from 'Primavera') 2. Tea tree essential oil (high quality, preferably from 'Nature's Touch') 3. Homeopathic Arnica C30 pellets 4. Homeopathic Arnica ointment 5. Aloe vera plant

• For cuts and abrasions
Clean the cut or abrasion with soap and water, then apply a few drops of pure lavender. On a small area of skin like a cut, there is no need to dilute it with a carrier oil. Alternatively, you can use tea tree. Both are antiseptic and heal skin tissue. Repeat the application of the essential oil several times a day until the skin heals. The treatment will also help prevent scarring.

• For the treatment and prevention of scars
To prevent scarring, treatment should be applied near the injury and throughout the healing process. The fresher the wound, the more effective the treatment. You can mix lavender and tea tree essential oils together evenly in a small glass bottle. These oils create a good synergy. It is advisable to add one or more vitamin E capsules. (A vitamin E capsule usually comes in a gelatin shell, so you can open the shell and pour the contents into the mixture to prevent scarring.) The mixture should be applied several times a day, over time, until the scar disappears. (Sometimes the process takes several weeks. Do not give up and continue applying the mixture)

• Dry blows and falls
In the case of a dry blow (blue mark), it is advisable to use arnica ointment and apply it several times to the area. In cases where there was also a traumatic fall, it is advisable to give 2 homeopathic arnica globules. The delicate globules should not be held in the hands, but placed directly in the mouth without hand contact. It is advisable to give again every half hour depending on the severity of the blow. Of course, there are cases of falls and blows that a doctor should examine, and the recommendation here is not intended as a medical substitute. In any case, arnica is very helpful and can provide relief even if concomitant medical treatment is necessary.

• Burns
The aloe vera plant is effective and recommended for treating burns. We keep an aloe vera plant at home and in the case of burns, we cut a leaf in half and apply it until the burn subsides. Lavender can also be helpful.

• Mushrooms
There are different types of fungus in different parts of the body, some more stubborn and some less stubborn. Treatment for fungus will usually also include dietary changes. Tea tree oil, pure or diluted, can be very helpful in treating fungus. You can also mix lavender and tea tree in equal proportions and apply to the area.

Alternatively, you can obtain an antiseptic ointment from us for the treatment of wounds and cuts that is intended for
